چکیده
In this paper we develop and analyze the model for the spread of Leptospirosis by age group in Thailand, between 1997 and 2010 by using mathematical modeling and computer simulation. Leptospirosis is caused by pathogenic spirochetes of the genus Leptospira. It is a zoonotic disease of global importance and an emerging health problem in Thailand. In Thailand, leptospirosis is a reportable disease, the top three age groups are 23.31% in 35-44 years olds group, 22.76% in 25-34 year olds group, 17.60% in 45-54 year olds group from reported leptospirosis between 1997 and 2010, with a peak in 35-44 year olds group. Our paper, the Leptosipirosis transmission by age group in Thailand is studied on the mathematical model. Some analytical and simulation results are presented. Keywords—Age Group, Equilibrium State, Leptospirosis, Mathematical Modeling.

Vaccination Coverage for COVID-19 in Sri Lanka: With and Without Age Stratification on Susceptible-Infectious-Recovered Simulation
Background: Vaccination against COVID-19 is as a key solution to interrupt its spread. This study aimed to describe the vaccination coverage required to stop the spread of COVID-19 in Sri Lanka using a mathematical modeling strategy. Materials & Methods: This longitudinal study used age-stratified and unstratified Susceptible-Infectious-Recovered (SIR) models. Data on the population's age dist...

متن کاملMathematical modeling, analysis and simulation of Ebola epidemics
Mathematical models are the most important tools in epidemiology to understand previous outbreaks of diseases and to better understand the dynamics of how infections spread through populations. Many existing models closely approximate historical disease patterns. This article investigates the mathematical model of the deadly disease with severe and uncontrollable bleeding, Ebola which is...
متن کاملComputer Simulation of Equidxed Eutectic Solidifiction of Metals
In the present work, the solidification process was simulated in both macroscopic and microscopic scales. Two-dimensional heat transfer equation for conduction was applied for macroscopic modeling using enthalpy formulation and finite element method. In order to decrease execution time and/or memory capacity in finite analysis, skyline mathematical technique was adapted. The microenthalpy metho...
متن کاملA mathematical model for treatment of bovine brucellosis in cattle population
Brucellosis is an infectious bacterial zoonosis of public health and economic significance. In this paper, a mathematical model describing the propagation of bovine brucellosis within cattle population is formulated. Model analysis is carried out to obtain and establish the stability of the equilibrium points. A threshold parameter referred to as the basic reproduction number $mathcal{R}_{0}$ i...
